Very close to most Broadway theaters, subways lines, etc. Incredibly friendly staff. Some of the nicest people I've met in NY. Bed was very comfortable. I didn't feel like the room was too small. It's NY and most hotel rooms are not big. The bathroom is a little unusual.
The toilet, sink and shower share the Broken Mind - Various - Kühlschrank Uptown floor space, so whenever you take a shower, the entire floor gets wet. So if you need to go back into the bathroom after you take a shower, go in barefoot or else your socks or shoes will get soaked; it just takes some getting used to.
There's no closet, just a single bar where you can hang a few items. It'd be nice to have a full-length mirror. There's a nice lounge area in the basement where you can drink coffee and work, if you need to. The wifi is fantastic. The room was very clean but I did notice a couple little bugs wandering around.
It's an old building, so this is to be expected. Still, the hotel probably needs to fumigate at some point. Broken Mind - Various - Kühlschrank Uptown biggie. It was really a terrific stay.
This is a cozy little room in a very good location. I will stay again if travelling alone. Not enough for a family. It is in an amazing location, around corner from Central Park, close to the Times Square for theater and cool restaurants, and also close to the majority Jeremy Taylor - Shearing The Poms subway stations.
Such a cool area. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable staying. I already missed my time there. Eden was awesome host and helped us get settled in. He gave me all great tips for getting around the area. This apartment is perfect to enjoy a NYC experience: clean, safe, convenient, quiet - lots of light!

Overall speaking it was great staying at their place and I highly recommend it to future travellers. Ethan's place is exactly as advertised. It's a great location and good accommodations for the price. We had easy communication with him. This flat has a fantastic location which has a 'neighbourhood' feel but just happens to be five minutes walk from Times Square.
The street is not full of tourists and has plenty of amenities very close by. Our six-year old loved the playground which happens to be next door and which includes a fountain to run in. It was also a shady place to sip the Broken Mind - Various - Kühlschrank Uptown coffee and chai latte from across the road. There is no roof at all, so that there is Broken Mind - Various - Kühlschrank Uptown all night. Everything is in wood, and since the place seems very old, I would recommend to invest in a fire detector. More like a hostel with super small spaces to sleep in.
It really is only a place to sleep in and keep your stuff. It was perfect for me, because that is all I needed it for. Walkable distance to Time Square. Good location for a bunch of different places. Full bath is upstairs and shared with the resident.
